There is not much of hype around jailbreaking in 2018, we have only one tool, Electra, which is limited for iOS 11 up to iOS 11.1.2, and the tool is causing some issues for most of users. Saurik decided to keep being silent and the future doesn’t seem to be bright either, until a developer has managed to jailbreak iOS 11.3 today.
On his Twitter account, the developer under the name of S0rryMyBad teases the iOS 11.3 jailbreak as being part of Edge bounty program, a bug bounty award by Microsoft to pay anyone who finds bugs and exploits.
Now giving the fact that he got paid for this service, we know the iOS 11.3 jailbreak is going to be kept private for a long period of time, unless another jailbreak developer or a hacker discovers that same exploit that will result into a proper jailbreak.
With this news, we believe that there is ‘HOPE’ and the future of jailbreaking will still find its way to light as there are people that are interested in diving into Apple’s iOS system exploitations.
